Affiliation Categories
Professional Member ($25/year)
Available to those who have completed a Master’s degree in Art Therapy, and who hold an active membership with the American Art Therapy Association in a corresponding category.
This Member level provides you with voting rights and the ability to volunteer for Board positions, as well as free admission to special events.
Retired Member ($15/year)
Available to individuals over the age of 65, who no longer actively practice art therapy.
This Member level provides you with voting rights and the ability to volunteer for Board positions, as well as free admission to special events.
Student Member ($15/year)
Available to individuals currently enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs of higher learning interested in art therapy are eligible for a student membership.
This Member level provides you with voting rights and the ability to volunteer for a Board position as a student representative, as well as free admission to special events.
Friend of MATA ($10/year)
For those who wish to support the mission of MATA who may be of a different mental health background, or reside outside the state of Maryland. Friend of MATA does not require a concurrent AATA membership. Please contact us to join as a Friend.
Please note that this level does not provide voting rights or the opportunity to hold office.
Membership is active for one year, on an anniversary calendar.
